Tomei 2.2L Kit is the Best for Drifting.
We are only using Tomei stroker kits because the reliability of these products is very high. We have a number of customers using the Tomei stroker kits at over 9000 RPM without issues. It is truly amazing. Still at this level of abuse there is no blow by gas. That means that the Tomei Piston profile is really good.

I really rely on Tomei products as their attention to detail is second to none. Amazing! For this reason alone is why we always use Tomei products for all our competition cars in drag racing, and in drift competitions like D1GP and street legal D1GP. The maximum reliability and results for competition use. The 2.2L kit really helps drivers when they are drifting during the Tsuiso battles as it allows them to have better control of the car. Only the 2.2L gives the best advantage for this type of motorsport. Just with the 200cc increase is all that is needed.

We always recommend our customers to upgrade from RB20 to RB25, from the SR20 to SR22 and the RB26 to RB28. I highly recommend those using the SR20 to seriously consider the upgrade to the TOMEI 2.2L for optimum results.

First of all, these products are very reasonably priced, but the design, quality and precision is perfect. That is why I always recommend Tomei products to my customers without hesitation.

And I myself am using these products in my own D1GP competition car and my own street car also uses the tomei 2.2L kit and runs on high boost. I am truly satisfied with this product.
After all the abuse, each time I tear down the engine, I find the engine still looking brand new. Nothing needed to be done to the engine apart from reassembling it again, as is.

So I know, for a fact just how reliable the Tomei products really are after all the abuse we give our cars. So those who are thinking of upgrading their engines, please consider about upgrading to the Tomei stroker kits.

Many people have been using Tomei Powered Cams not only for the SR, but also for other Nissan engine applications for a very long time. These camshafts have long-established it as the cams for results and the variety of the camshaft profile that meets the needs and keeps satisfying end users time and time again. One example is that one of the SR common problems is when the rocker arms separate. Naturally the setup and driving style are also part of the cause of this problem but the influence by the cam lobe profile is a key factor. In such conditions when reliability is a main concern the Tomei Powered Cams can be used for engines which are also used for frequent high RPM, such as for drifting and during track use without worry. Although the same power and a torque characteristic can be obtained from various manufacturers as they develop their cams for performance the key point of security in reliability is not always available from the design from every manufacturer. When used with the stock valve springs the drop-in PONCAM can deliver impressive results with the right Valve Timing already preset and the special cam lobe profiles. More vast options are available in the PROCAM range as well. We are proud to recommend these camshafts to our clients.

One of our customers has a S14 Silvia Kouki car. This member uses his daily driven street use car for drifting and frequents tracks on track days. On tracks like Honjo, he was not happy with the response of his previous turbine and setup. So he tried to change his final gear with a 4.3 ratio. Still it was not satisfactory for his needs. So after carefully going over all the aftermarket brands of turbos, this end user decided to go with the Tomei ARMS M7960 turbo. Mainly because of the unbeatble price and brand name reputation.

The end user used to have a 400HP drift car, but this was much more fun and the driveability is now much better. After a run with the new cars setup at the famous D1GP course, Ebisu Minami. We found that the car comes on boost easily and the range is a good healthy powerband from 3500 to 7000 RPM when in 2nd gear. The engine spools easily and is very responsive within that power band range. Throttle control feel is very good and easy to use as well!! So this end user is extremely satisfied with his cars setup now.

This time, we have installed the ARMS M7960 by a request of S15 owner.
The reasoning for his purchase is that with a price of $1,390.00, all of the necessary parts for installation are included.
In actuality, with mesh water and oil lines, beautifully machined aluminum actuator, and 1 year warranty, these points make it easier to recommend to our customers.
The CPU setting will be in the near future, but will be set correctly by specifications of modifications to the engine. We are excited to see how far we can cram. We will decide on a setup, and make it as the standard menu,

The image of RB26 may be strong, but there are a lot of SR20 users and it is one of proud engines. This times customer that we installed the M7960 is driving a S14 in the circuits, and had a concern that the turbine that he has been using was very peaky, and could not step on the accelerator pedal during middle of cornering. This is when he came across the news of newly released SR turbo by TOMEI POWERED and decided immediately. Even with the correspondence output of 400ps, we went ahead and set it up with boost of 1.3k with about 330ps. This hit the mark wonderfully. The boost is milder allowing to step on the accelerator pedal in middle of cornering! As a result, wonderfully faster lap time. Also, there is an added feeling of fun to drive sensation. In the future, in order to raise the output to 400ps,
there needs to be further setting up of other parts, but would like to step up according to customer's level. The cost performance is very high with substantial amount of accessories, it is the turbo that we recommend.
