Until recently I was using other company's sports muffler, but TOMEI's titanium muffler caught my attention and decided to give it a try. I can pleasantly hear the low tone sound peculiar to titanium when I start the engine, and idling is on the quieter side. When driven, compared to conventional muffler the response is much better above 2000rpm, after 3500rpm the acceleration is full of torque, and it draws the potential of EVO 10 sufficiently. From there it accelerates up to 7000rpm without any stress now. As expected, I was impressed with product made by engine builder TOMEI, that knows the characteristics of engines. Also, the titanium muffler is available at a reasonable price with this performance. |

Hi! How are you everybody?! I'm Bruce Yamashita! When I saw it on TOMEI POWERED's Power Channel 84, it was love at first sight and said "this, this is it!" When held, it's light! The weight reduction was done to point of almost too light, and the hue is almost too beautiful, it's brilliant! And the excellent aggressive performance styling! OK, I installed it on the EVO 10 immediately and ran a test at the Central Circuit! What is this response, from low rpm with incredible torque, then from the mid to high rpm, the torque converts to power and the shift timing is obviously faster. What is this. It's fast, it felt too fast, so I went back to the pits and glanced at the bulletin board, and compared from stock to after installation, the time was faster by 3 seconds! I doubted my eyes, but I was convinced after looking at the time chart, it was obviously faster! The time will be much better! This is the monster muffler that TOMEI POWERED thought about that gives motivation with spirit and nature. Uh oh I can't forget! The sound, the sound is really splendid! From what I can hear from my ears, titanium's dry and somewhat high-pitched sound, and transparent thick sound. |

Frankly speaking, the sports muffler that we used was squeezed at the inner silencer so I was not satisfied with the performance and sound for circuit driving. When I was looking for muffler that felt better and gave me motivation, I noticed that TOMEI released the EVO 10 muffler. I was worried since it wasn't a cheap shopping, but I was attracted since it was only for competition use, and made up my mind and decided to purchase it. Immediately, I installed the TOMEI titanium muffler and took it to circuit. I immediately noticed the difference. Anyhow, the response from the accelerator pedal is totally different, obviously the car feels lighter. The sound too changes to much pleasurable sound from 4000rpm. I was surprised at the difference that it made. It made me think, "what was the titanium mufflers until this?" By the way, the sound at idle is close to that of stock, and almost discouragingly quiet. The muffler is extremely light weight with just 4.4kg. and I believe that the user will feel the difference in behavior at acceleration and cornering .I have let other EVO 10 driving friends, and TOMEI is the only titanium muffler that increases the power by this much. Honestly, I was concerned when purchasing this muffler, but I am greatly satisfied with this great purchase.

When I was searching for light weight single outlet muffler for a while, TOMEI POWERED titanium muffler was released and chose this from weight and pricing.
There are ƒ³80 mufflers from other companies, but it was mainly made with stainless steel, and if it was made with titanium, it was very expensive. But, TOMEI's muffler wasƒ³80, made with titanium, reasonable pricing, and even larger weight reduction is possible. After installing the muffler and starting the engine, it was totally sound of a race car, but fortunately the muffler came with a sound reducer so I was able to reduce the sound. From such an aspect, it is splendid muffler which can be used in both street and in circuits.

Last year on October, the ASIA AUTOSALON was held in Singapore. Tuning parts maker and tuning shops gathered from Asian countries, and there was TOMEI's participation from Japan as well. At the TOMEI booth, there was world premier of EXPREME Ti for the EVO 10 installed on a vehicle before release. At a blink of an eye, I single-handedly saw spectators attention, and as a TOMEI dealer, I really looked forward for the release of the product. It showed the reactions from the show, and after the show the inquiries continually came from customers. After the initial order arrived, the EVO10 users visited the shop one after other and checked the quality, lightness, and were surprised at the pricing that could not be thought about until then. The users that actually purchased the product, says that without any hesitation it goes from low rpm to high rpm, and the performance is enhanced throughout the rpm and not concentrating in one area. They are satisfied and says that it is a work of TOMEI POWERED that really knows engines.

The reputation was built through word of mouth from customers to customers, and now development for other car models are yearned for. In 2008, F1GP was held in Singapore, and recently, first for Singapore, a permanent circuit is being constructed close to Changi International Airport.
