The stock engine was only able to deliver 207HP and 31kgm of torque. A gain of
52HP & 2kgm torque was achieved just by changing the exhaust. There will be more tests done with a new down pipe option as well.
The stock Turbo will see a major change with larger camshaft profiles. It will clearly show in the Dyno graphs. The improvement of the opening and closing of the valve operation. Valve timing will be optimized as well.
It is efficiency is optimized with improved intake and exhaust flows. Higher exhaust gas pressure that aids spooling larger turbos. Just with the stock turbo alone, the performance gain was an extra 12HP & 5kgm torque.
With the addition of our new bolt on 400HP+ Turbo kit, we ran the Turbo with a boost setting of 1.2kg. This is the limit of the stock engine internals. Although the Turbo is capable of delivering 400HP, we had to limit the test to suit what the stock internals could handle. The roller type Chassis Dyno tests showed the performance gain was an extra
102HP & 6kgm torque.
Up to 350HP for stock engines. 350HP & above for tuned engines.
End users can enjoy this Turbos potential by adjusting the boost settings to suit their needs and setup.
555cc Injectors & 255L/h Fuel Pump are highly recommended as the bare minimum, in order to achieve the above mentioned power output.
